About St Columba's

"By God's grace we are a family who follow Jesus and reach out to our community"

God's grace means we are a community of people who often fail and struggle, but who know that we are loved, forgiven, accepted and changed by God through what Jesus has done for us. We don't need to hide anything or prove anything.

Being a family means that we try to love each other as brothers and sisters who all share the same heavenly Father. We try to do this by sharing meals, our lives and our struggles with each other.

Following Jesus means we put him first, live for him, and listen to his Word, the Bible. We find that by living this way we experience hope, freedom and true joy - because he knows what's best for us, and wants what's best for us.

Reaching out to our community means we want to share the treasure we've found with other people. We want to make a positive difference in our local community.

Our main gatherings are at 10:30 on Sunday mornings, and anyone can join us then. But we also run groups for people to ask questions and explore the Christian faith, groups for families, Bible studies, teaching sessions and social groups through the week. Have a look around the website to see what's on, and then please come along and join us!
